Information connected to your account

When you create an account, Sewknitcrochet uses the name and email address you provide. Sign-in is password-backed through better-auth. Authentication records and session records are used to let you sign in and keep you signed in.

The site uses better-auth session cookies and the session metadata needed to recognize an active session. We also use verification email delivery so an email address can be confirmed when the account flow requires it. Verification messages are sent through the site's configured Polsia email service.

Membership payments

Membership checkout is hosted and processed through the installed Stripe billing integration. Sewknitcrochet uses the payment result to confirm membership access. The site does not present its own embedded card form.

Payment details are handled by the hosted payment flow rather than entered into a Sewknitcrochet page. For payment-provider privacy details, review the information shown by the hosted checkout and Stripe's own terms and privacy materials.

Conditional page-view analytics

The site includes a Polsia page-view beacon only when the deployment provides its analytics configuration. When enabled, the browser stores a local visitor identifier in local storage and sends that identifier with the deployment's page-view beacon. When the deployment values are absent, this beacon does not run.

Cookies and advertising disclosure

Sewknitcrochet does not currently claim or represent that AdSense is integrated into this app. If advertising is enabled on a future version, Google and other third-party ad providers may use cookies or similar technologies and associated visit or device data to serve, measure, or personalize ads. Those providers may use information about visits to this and other sites as allowed by the advertising setup.

Depending on the advertising service and your browser or device, you can control or limit cookies and personalized advertising through your browser settings, device controls, or the controls offered by the relevant provider. Google's guidance about publisher disclosures and user controls is available at Google AdSense guidance.

What this policy does not add

This policy describes the practices evidenced by the current app. It does not claim that Sewknitcrochet collects additional categories of information, sells personal information, shares information for unrelated purposes, or keeps information for a particular period when the app does not establish those practices.
