Week 3 – knitting, knitting, knitting

If you are reading this, Hi!

Spent the weekend knitting.  I have been concentrating on getting my Chuck jumper finished.  I have so many projects on the go and it would be great if I could get just one of them finished and tick them off so I can concentrate on one thing at a time.  Is that how we all feel?  Will this ever happen or am I completely kidding myself? … I think the latter….

The Chuck pattern is so lovely to knit.  I do love the process of knitting but I also love it when you can see it all coming together.  The all in one knitting style allows that.  You knit from the top down, the back is done first and then the front and they joint at the underarms to be worked in one piece down to the waistband.  You then pick up the stitches around the armhole and knit the sleeves down also to the cuff.

The yarn I am using for this is Cynthia Helene 100@ Merino superwash.  It is really lovely to knit with.  The shade is called Harvest Gold and it is a lovely warm mustard colour.

Can’t wait to get it done so I can show off the finished object.
