Toes Up

This is the yarn that I dyed with food colouring. I found a big ball of baby yarn that I had bought years ago.  I think I made a little layette for Richard but was too small for him when he was born.

I divided the skein into four equal parts and am now knitting up (literally) a pair of stripy socks.

I quite like this method as, try as I might, I just cannot seem to get the Kitchener stitch right to make a neat toe. This way the toe is neat and flat.

Can’t wait to see how they turn out.
